David is a former Roman Catholic Seminarian from the Congregation of the Sacred Stigmata (Stigmatine Fathers and Brothers). He is the first Filipino Fellow of the London College of Music of the University of West London UK and has received the master’s degree equivalent Fellowship diploma with the rights to use the letters "FLCM". He has also achieved his Associate Diploma in Music Teaching Musical Theatre "ALCM (TD)" through the London College of Music Examinations. David also studied Conducting and Piano at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music Manila and was also a member of the Conservatory's Coro Tomasino and a Guest member of the World acclaimed Ateneo de Manila University College Glee Club for the World choir competitions, concerts and festivals in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

At present, he is the representative for London College of Music Examinations to the Philippines and Jakarta Indonesia.

David is a member of Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) which is a performing rights organization in the United States.

David works as a composer, conductor, music director, musical theatre director, performer and teacher to various organizations, schools and events. Some notable works and activities include his composition for the musical score of Navel Animations' "Road to 7th Avenue," which was a finalist in Singapore’s Asian animation Superpitch 2005 representing the Philippines with the International Jury given a powerful recognition on the noticeable positive effect of David’s composed music to the success of the newly conceptualized animation show.

Most recently he composed and arranged the music of the song entitled “Next Christmas” dedicated to OFWs and health care workers around the world who were affected by the pandemic and cannot be with their loved ones for Christmas. The song was featured by the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta and received more than 10,000 hits in just 2 days on various platforms.

In the past, David appeared as singer, pianist and musical director for the United Nations Environment Program's World Environment Day celebration 2011 at the Qatar National Theatre; singer and band director for Doha Tribeca Film Festival 2011; and a baritone choir member of the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club for the World choir competitions, concerts and festivals in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

David directed and choreographed successful musical theatre productions of "A Day of Broadway, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz" at various International Schools in Jakarta Indonesia. He also successfully directed and organized three music competitions in Jakarta; the Big Ben Inter-School Singing Stars 2017 the Big Ben Inter-School Music Festival 2019 and the Big Ben International Online Music Competition 2020 which he is also one of the adjudicators together with Professor Hugh Sutton – the former chief examiner of LCM exams and Mr. Joy T. Nilo.

As a TEACHER, he prepared International students to pass with mostly distinction awards the London College of Music Examinations. He also trained students who became finalists and champions in various local and international music competitions most recently in Singapore, and Vietnam where all of his 5 students from Indonesia received the gold trophy awards and one from the Philippines got the gold and best performer award. This year, one of his students became champion in one Prestigious Italian Music Competition.

David was also featured in Entrepreneur Magazine of Summit Media Corporation as a young musician and entrepreneur in a two-page article entitled, "Strike the Right Notes"

He is a former music teacher, Grade 7 homeroom adviser and the computer, arts, music and foreign language department head of the MIT International School Philippines. He worked as a music teacher and music centre director for the Jakarta International Multicultural School in Indonesia. Long time ago he is also a former Piano, Keyboard, and Vocals instructor at IAID Qatar. He also worked as a music teacher and choir conductor for the Westfield Science Oriented Schools and Colleges, Don Bosco School, St. Gaspar Bertoni College Seminary and many other schools and colleges.

Currently, David is the founder and works as the Programme Director of the Big Ben International Academy for Music, English and Performing Arts in Jakarta Indonesia. Founder and main director of the Saraza Music Center “International Center for Music, Academics and Arts” Philippines and now a music education consultant for International Academy for Intercultural Development (IAID) Qatar.
