What is OFQUAL or the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulations

The London College of Music Examination is OFQUAL accredited.

OFQUAL or the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulations is a Government department that regulates the qualifications, exams and tests in the UK. It is the same Government department that regulates the Cambridge international exam or IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate or IB.

The UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) categorises qualifications in England based on their size, and their level of challenge or difficulty.

The level goes from the lowest, least challenging Entry Level, up through the levels to the most challenging or difficult, which is a Doctorate at Level 8
